Wharfs and Piers:

Much of our work is supplying metal fabrications for Long Beach/Los Angeles Harbor development. These include friction collars, power trench, crane stops, pin sockets, guard posts, seismic fuses, lateral restraints, expansion joints, cold-ironing vaults, security camera portals, gangways, bridges, ladders and walkways.

Excel was the primary miscellaneous metal supplier for Pier A, Pier G, Berth 144, Pier 400, Pier 400/Bridges, Long Beach Cruise, Pier C and secondary supplier for Pier 100. We have completed Phase I and II on Pier T, the former Naval Shipyard, and are currently contracted for Phase III.

Non-Port of Los Angeles pier projects include Santa Monica Pier, Belmont Pier, Ventura Pier, Prisoner Pier, Port Hueneme, Malibu Pier, Mole Pier/San Diego and Redondo Beach Pier for which we fabricated handrails, pile caps and pile bracing.
